Product Information:
ZOLID 15mg Tablets contain Pioglitazone Hydrochloride 15mg, a thiazolidinedione (TZD) class oral antidiabetic agent. It works by activating peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-gamma (PPAR-γ) in fat, muscle, and liver tissues, which enhances insulin sensitivity and reduces insulin resistance—a core defect in type 2 diabetes.
This low-strength formulation is commonly used as a starting dose or for patients requiring cautious titration due to comorbidities or risk factors.
Uses of (ZOLID 15MG TABLETS):
- Monotherapy or adjunctive treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults
- Patients with significant insulin resistance not adequately controlled by diet, exercise, or other agents
- Combination therapy with metformin, sulfonylureas, or insulin when additional glycemic control is needed
Key Benefits of (ZOLID 15MG TABLETS):
- Improves insulin sensitivity in peripheral tissues and liver
- Reduces fasting and postprandial blood glucose levels
- May help preserve pancreatic beta-cell function over time
- Weight-neutral or modest weight gain (less than older TZDs like rosiglitazone)
How To Use (ZOLID 15MG TABLETS):
