Product Information:
TREVIA 100mg Tablets contain Tramadol Hydrochloride 100mg, a centrally acting synthetic opioid analgesic that provides pain relief through dual mechanisms:
- Weak mu-opioid receptor agonism
- Inhibition of serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake
This strength is used for the management of moderate to moderately severe acute or chronic pain in adults when lower doses are insufficient.
⚠️ Important Safety Note:
Tramadol is a Schedule H1 controlled substance in Pakistan due to its potential for dependence, abuse, seizures, and serotonin syndrome. It must be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary.
Uses of (TREVIA 100MG TABLETS):
- Relief of moderate to severe acute pain (e.g., post-surgical, dental, trauma-related)
- Management of chronic non-cancer pain (e.g., osteoarthritis, neuropathic pain, low back pain)
- Alternative to stronger opioids when a lower risk of respiratory depression is desired
Key Benefits of (TREVIA 100MG TABLETS):
- Effective analgesia with less respiratory depression than morphine
- Dual mechanism enhances pain control, especially in mixed or neuropathic pain
- Oral formulation with predictable absorption
- Lower abuse liability than classic opioids (though still significant)
How To Use (TREVIA 100MG TABLETS):
- Take every 4–6 hours as needed for pain, with or without food.
