Product Information:
TIRZEE 5mg Pen contains Tirzepatide 5mg, a once-weekly dual glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist. It is used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus and chronic weight management in adults. Tirzepatide enhances insulin secretion, suppresses glucagon release, slows gastric emptying, and promotes satiety through dual incretin receptor activation.
The 5mg dose is the second step in the titration regimen, following the initial 2.5mg dose, and is often used as a therapeutic maintenance dose for some patients.
✅ Note: This aligns with globally approved products like Mounjaro® (for diabetes) and Zepbound® (for obesity), where 5mg is a standard intermediate dose.
