Product Information:
TIRZEE 2.5mg Pen contains Tirzepatide 2.5mg, a once-weekly dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus and chronic weight management in adults. Tirzepatide mimics the actions of two incretin hormones—glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1)—to enhance insulin secretion, suppress glucagon release, slow gastric emptying, and promote satiety.
The 2.5mg dose is the starting dose in the titration regimen and is not intended for long-term maintenance.
✅ Note: This aligns with globally approved products like Mounjaro® (for diabetes) and Zepbound® (for obesity), where 2.5mg is the initial weekly dose.
