Product Information:
TAMSOLIN 0.4mg Capsules contain Tamsulosin Hydrochloride 0.4mg, a selective alpha-1A adrenergic receptor antagonist used to treat the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adult men. By blocking alpha-1A receptors in the prostate and bladder neck, tamsulosin relaxes smooth muscle, improving urine flow and reducing urinary obstruction.
This formulation offers once-daily dosing with high uroselectivity—minimizing effects on blood pressure compared to non-selective alpha-blockers.
Uses of (TAMSOLIN 0.4MG CAPSULES):
- Relief of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) due to BPH, including:
- Weak or interrupted urine stream
- Hesitancy (difficulty starting urination)
- Sensation of incomplete bladder emptying
- Frequent or urgent urination
- Nocturia (waking at night to urinate)
Key Benefits of (TAMSOLIN 0.4MG CAPSULES):
- Rapid improvement in urine flow (within days)
- High selectivity for prostate/bladder alpha-1A receptors—less effect on vascular alpha-1B receptors
- Once-daily dosing for consistent symptom control
- Lower risk of orthostatic hypotension than older alpha-blockers (e.g., terazosin, doxazosin)
How To Use (TAMSOLIN 0.4MG CAPSULES):
