Product Information:
STARCOX 120mg Tablets contain Etoricoxib 120mg, a selective COX-2 inhibitor belonging to the class of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It provides potent anti-inflammatory, analgesic (pain-relieving), and antipyretic (fever-reducing) effects by selectively inhibiting the cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzyme involved in inflammation and pain, while sparing COX-1 (which protects the stomach lining).
This high-strength formulation is reserved for short-term management of acute severe pain or specific inflammatory conditions under medical supervision.
⚠️ Important Safety Note:
Etoricoxib carries an increased risk of cardiovascular events (heart attack, stroke), especially with long-term use or in patients with pre-existing heart disease. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible.
