Product Information:
SILORAP 8mg Capsules contain Silodosin 8mg, a highly selective alpha-1A adrenergic receptor antagonist used to treat moderate to severe lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adult men. By targeting receptors primarily in the prostate and bladder neck, silodosin relaxes smooth muscle, improving urine flow and reducing bladder outlet obstruction.
This higher-strength formulation is typically used when the standard 4mg dose provides insufficient symptom relief.
⚠️ Important Note:
Silodosin is not approved for use in women or children. Women of childbearing potential should avoid handling crushed or broken capsules due to potential fetal risk.
