2. Fluticasone Propionate 250 mcg – a medium-to-high dose inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) that reduces airway inflammation and hyperresponsiveness

This higher-strength combination is indicated for patients with moderate to severe persistent asthma or COPD with frequent exacerbations who require intensified anti-inflammatory and bronchodilator therapy.

⚠️ Important Safety Note:

LABAs (like salmeterol) increase the risk of asthma-related death when used without an inhaled corticosteroid. This fixed-dose combination includes both, making it appropriate for maintenance—but never use as monotherapy or for acute attacks.
