NEBIL 5mg Tablets contain Nebivolol 5mg, a highly selective beta-1 adrenergic receptor blocker with additional vasodilatory effects mediated through nitric oxide (NO) release. Unlike traditional beta-blockers, nebivolol lowers blood pressure while improving peripheral blood flow and has minimal impact on resting heart rate at therapeutic doses.

This intermediate-strength formulation is commonly used as a maintenance dose for hypertension or as an initial dose in patients with good cardiovascular tolerance.

Side Effects of (NEBIL 5MG TABLETS):

Common: Headache, fatigue, dizziness, nausea, mild bradycardia.

Rare: Cold extremities (less than other beta-blockers), sleep disturbances, erectile dysfunction.

Serious (rare):

1. Worsening heart failure (in unstable patients)
2. Bronchospasm (use with caution in reactive airway disease)
3. Symptomatic hypotension or excessive bradycardia
4. Discontinue and seek medical help if shortness of breath, fainting, chest pain, or severe dizziness occurs.

4. Heart failure: Start at 1.25–2.5mg; 5mg may be used in stable patients after titration

Drug Interactions:

1. Verapamil, diltiazem, digoxin: ↑ Risk of bradycardia or AV block
