MONTIGET 5mg Tablets contain Montelukast Sodium 5mg, a leukotriene receptor antagonist that blocks cysteinyl leukotriene receptors (CysLT₁) in the airways. Leukotrienes are inflammatory mediators that cause bronchoconstriction, mucus hypersecretion, and airway swelling. By inhibiting their action, montelukast reduces asthma and allergy symptoms without corticosteroid effects.
