Product Information:

KETOROGET 30mg/mL Injection contains Ketorolac Tromethamine, a potent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) of the pyrrolizine carboxylic acid class. It acts as a non-selective inhibitor of cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2), thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis and providing strong analgesic (pain-relieving) effects—comparable to opioids—but with no sedative or addictive properties.

This formulation (30mg/mL) is used for short-term management of moderate to severe acute pain, typically in postoperative or emergency settings.

⚠️ Note: Ketorolac is not an opioid and not indicated for chronic pain, minor pain, or perioperative pain in high-risk surgeries (e.g., coronary artery bypass grafting).

Side Effects of (KETOROGET 30MG/ML IM IV INJECTION):

Common: Nausea, headache, dizziness, injection site pain, drowsiness.

Serious (dose- and duration-dependent):

1. Gastrointestinal bleeding/perforation (can be fatal, without warning symptoms)
2. Acute kidney injury (especially in volume-depleted or elderly patients)
3. Platelet dysfunction → prolonged bleeding time
4. Hypersensitivity reactions (anaphylaxis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome)
5. Discontinue immediately and seek emergency care for black/tarry stools, vomiting blood, reduced urine output, or rash with blistering.
