DIAMPA-LT 10/5mg Tablets is a fixed-dose combination of Dapagliflozin 10mg and Linagliptin 5mg, two oral antidiabetic agents with complementary mechanisms of action for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

1. Dapagliflozin: A sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 (SGLT2) inhibitor that lowers blood glucose by promoting urinary excretion of glucose.

When Not to Use (DIAMPA-LT 10/5MG TABLETS):

Do not use if you have:

1. Hypersensitivity to dapagliflozin, linagliptin, or any excipients
2. Severe renal impairment (eGFR <30 mL/min) or end-stage renal disease
3. History of Fournier’s gangrene or serious hypersensitivity to SGLT2 inhibitors
4. Type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis

Side Effects of (DIAMPA-LT 10/5MG TABLETS):

Common: Genital mycotic infections (e.g., yeast infection), urinary tract infections, increased urination, nasopharyngitis, headache.

Serious (rare):

1. Fournier’s gangrene (necrotizing fasciitis of perineum—seek emergency care for pain/redness/swelling in genital area)
2. Pancreatitis (linagliptin class risk—abdominal pain, vomiting)
3. Hypotension, acute kidney injury, or euglycemic ketoacidosis
4. Discontinue and seek immediate medical help if these occur.

Dosage: (DIAMPA-LT 10/5MG TABLETS):

1. Standard adult dose: One tablet once daily
2. No dose adjustment needed for linagliptin in renal impairment

Warnings & Precautions:

4. Counsel patients on symptoms of ketoacidosis (nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fatigue)

Drug Interactions:
