6. History of gout (hydrochlorothiazide may elevate uric acid)
7. Concomitant use of aliskiren in diabetic patients

Warnings & Precautions:

Maintain adequate hydration—diarrhea, vomiting, or excessive sweating may lead to dangerous imbalances. Use sunscreen due to photosensitivity from hydrochlorothiazide. Avoid in bilateral renal artery stenosis.
