COVA 160mg Tablets contain Valsartan as the active ingredient, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that selectively blocks the AT1 subtype of angiotensin II receptors. This action results in vasodilation, reduced aldosterone secretion, and decreased blood pressure. COVA is used for the management of hypertension, heart failure, and post-myocardial infarction (MI) care in clinically stable patients.

When Not to Use (COVA 160MG TABLETS):

Do not use if you have:

4. Concomitant use of aliskiren in diabetic patients
5. Bilateral renal artery stenosis or solitary kidney with renal artery stenosis
