CLARITEK 250mg Tablets contain Clarithromycin as the active ingredient, a macrolide antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit. It is effective against a wide range of Gram-positive, Gram-negative, and atypical bacteria, including Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, and Helicobacter pylori. CLARITEK is commonly used for respiratory, skin, and gastrointestinal infections, and as part of combination therapy for H. pylori eradication.
