This lower-strength formulation is suitable for pediatric patients, mild to moderate infections, or step-down therapy in adults requiring parenteral antibiotics when oral options are not feasible.

How To Use (CEFOPERZ IV/IM 500 MG):

When Not to Use (CEFOPERZ IV/IM 500 MG):

Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to cefoperazone, other cephalosporins, or penicillins (especially anaphylaxis). Avoid in neonates with hyperbilirubinemia (risk of bilirubin displacement).
