Product Information:
CEFOPERZ IV/IM 2000mg is a high-dose sterile powder for injection containing Cefoperazone Sodium, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic with extended activity against Gram-negative bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and moderate coverage against Gram-positive organisms. It inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis and is eliminated via both biliary and renal routes, making it especially useful in hepatobiliary and urinary infections. This 2g formulation is intended for intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) use in moderate to severe systemic infections requiring aggressive parenteral therapy.
