Product Information:
CEFIGET 100mg/5mL Suspension (30mL bottle) is a pediatric antibiotic formulation containing Cefixime as the active ingredient, a third-generation oral cephalosporin. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis and is highly stable against beta-lactamase enzymes. This broad-spectrum antibiotic is effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, making it suitable for common childhood infections such as otitis media, pharyngitis, and urinary tract infections. The suspension is flavored for better palatability and comes with a calibrated measuring device for accurate dosing.
